Meet our PastorPastor Dan IsaacDan is married to Bobbie, and together they have twin children, Abigail and Jacob.
Dan is a proud Welshman and was born and raised in Llanelli (where he currently still lives). He’s 26 years old, a drummer, and a lover of all things rugby-related (but especially the Scarlets!). In April 2021, Dan entered the Minister in Training programme within the Elim Pentecostal Churches, training to become an ordained Elim Minister. Initially he served as a member of the ministry team at City Church Swansea (his home church), before relocating to Myrtle House Community Church, Llanelli, in January 2023, where he was again a member of the ministry team. During the summer of 2023, Dan was invited to take on the role of Lead Pastor at Cynon Valley Church, an invitation which he and Bobbie gladly accepted. Dan, Bobbie and their children joined the Cynon Valley Church family in October 2023. Dan is passionate about the local church and seeing the church have a positive impact on society and the local community. As a family man, he is also passionate about seeing families serving God together. Additionally, Dan loves to see Christian believers energised, equipped and then released to go and share their faith with others, and to make a real difference to the lives of others within their sphere of influence outside of the walls of the church building.
