Our Purpose groups (you might have heard of connect/home/life groups) are where we as a church meet, chat, uplift, support, encourage and challenge each other. We believe that we are called to be the church (which is a family not a building), not just on a Sunday, but all the way through the week, and so we use our purpose groups to be the catalyst to see us be the best Jesus followers we can be.
We know that life was made to be lived in community, and so there is always food, chatting and bible, with a spattering of tears, laughs, videos, study and lots more where necessary. Family comes in all shapes, sizes, backgrounds, walks, understanding and pasts, so we encourage absolutely anyone and everyone to come along and be a part of this amazing family that we call Cynon Valley Church.

Every first Tuesday of the month, we don't meet in our purpose groups, but instead we join as a whole family for a Together Night, where we do a whole bunch of fun things and get to just be with one another as a family. No pressure, no agenda - just good old fashioned friendship and fellowship. These nights will be full of laughs, chats, tea and coffee and most of all family! Every month will be different so keep up to date with whats going on here, or at one of our Celebration Services on a Sunday!
